This was my dream bohemian wedding dress. From the designer: A bridal gown need not be poofy and princess-like, take this WTOO Brides 14106P Gia wedding dress for instance. Chic and strapless, the modified sweetheart neckline keeps things simple while the textured geometric circle lace is a bold attention-getter. Made up of chevrons and cross-hatching, the pattern is flattering while long lines and a waist detail are ultra slimming. Fitted and flared at the knee, the back is finished with an invisible zipper and sweep train. Off-white lace with rose gold stretch satin lining.
I wore this dress once at my wedding last summer, and had it professionally dry cleaned afterwards. It's in excellent condition. One of the bustle rings fell off but this can easily be reattached. There are a few spots in the back down the center seam where the lace pulled apart but this can easily be resewn together.
The dress is a size 2 and I had a few alterations (see details below). I'm 5'0'' tall and weigh about 100 pounds. My measurements are 33'' bust, 24'' waist, 35'' hips. My seamstress told me the dressed can be lengthened, widened, etc. I saved the extra lace / lining for future alterations.
The dress retailed at $1,600. It was also featured as a BHLDN dress (no longer available), called the Gigi Gown. Similar to Wtoo Pippin and Betty gowns.
