This Spring 2018 Monique Lhuiller Wedding dress is the perfect silhouette that mixes a classic wedding vibe with a sexy modern twist. I was able to remove the traditional cap sleeve that this gown usually has to make it a little bit more edgy with one inch straps.

This intricate, off-white/ivory, French-made, Chantilly-lace head-turner with scalloped design on the bodice and skirt is as sexy as it is romantic. It has a plunging neckline and sheer-illusion detail at the cleavage and throughout. The curved folds of lace flow at the back like textured wings, fluttering around the back of the skirt in waves. This, in contrast to the flat, sensual scallop-edged Chantilly lace in front that shows off your figure.

For the bride who prefers a modern runway, not-bridal gown look, this dress is perfect for you. Showing off the arms and back you’ve worked hard to firm up for weeks leading up to the big day. There’s a gorgeous train that makes a grand first impression; it’s not too long though! The dress is lightweight and effortless for me to wear which was especially nice for the hours before the party during pre-ceremony photos and the ceremony. Later in the night, when it was bustled for dancing it was just the right height for 3-inch heels. The wedding was held in Northern New Jersey in Alpine in late October. It was a perfect light weight dress for fall, but is really a dress that really can take you into any season.

The dress is currently in New York City but can be shipped anywhere. With the cost of dry cleaning at the world's finest preservationists, J Scheer for over $700, this dress would set you back over $8,000 plus tax new;  and nearly new and in perfect condition, not a single tear in the lining.

Shipping within 48 states negotiable--insurance determined by you would be extra.
