This Martin Thornburgh dress is STUNNING!!!! An incredibly lightweight, classy and strikingly beautiful lace dress was a must for our Italian destination wedding!!! It traveled perfectly in a garment bag, no steam or pressing required on arrival. It is comfortable and super easy to maneuver in. This dress provides perfect coverage; sheer enough for summer, yet warm enough for chilly spring or fall weddings. You will feel like a princess walking down the aisle in this gorgeous wedding gown!!!
This two-piece set includes a detached reversible bodysuit, Nude on one side and Diamond White on the other, designed to be worn under the gown. The bodysuit is brand new/unworn with tags still attached as I wore a body shaper instead. This graceful fit and flare illusion Schiffli lace dress, features metallic threading, illusion lace long sleeves with elegant crystal buttons at the wrist, illusion bateau neckline over a tasteful deep plunging sweetheart bodice, dramatically dropped waist, illusion med/low back trimmed with beautiful crystal buttons, front and back bodice delicately accented with beads and pearls, and an illusion chapel train sprinkled with lace appliqués and gorgeous scalloped hem lace. I am 5'7" and wore a 2" heel. The dress was a perfect fit so I did not need to alter the gown, including the length.
Don’t buy a dress cleaned via a “preservation kit”. My wedding dress was lovingly HAND-CLEANED and inspected, NOT thrown in a machine with 30 other dresses! It was professionally dry-cleaned at a family-owned cleaners who also owns the plant where all of their garments are cleaned so they have skin in the game!! Chemical-free and environmentally friendly - no Perchloroethylene (synthetic chlorinated hydrocarbon solvent known as 'perc'), and no petroleum; silicone is clear, odorless and gentle. Beware of "Organic Hydrocarbon" dry cleaning methods. Hydrocarbon is sometimes marketed as "organic” and is petroleum-based!
The owners of the dry cleaners said they’ve never seen a bride bring in a wedding dress so immaculately clean and in perfect condition – there was so little to do other than freshen it from the trip across the pond!
