The Nadiya gown is the ultimate dress for a bride who loves the beauty of nature—and couture! It has serious fantasy vibes, channeling elven princesses, earth goddesses, and forest nymphs with its FIVE layers of sheer, raw edged fabric and masterfully hand-applied embroidered lace applique. Delicate vines and flowers wind and grow up the illusion back and neckline. There is a generous train to contribute to the overall ethereal look. This is definitely one of Mira Zwillinger's most beautiful designs. It is lined to be made a bit more modest than the runway examples; however, it is still slightly sheer. The top is corseted for a very flattering, form-shaping (and lifting) fit.
Purchased bespoke, this gown would have cost $11K. I purchased it at a sample sale from Ultimate Bride in Chicago for $8240. I wore this dress to my ceremony and photos only! It was so beautiful and I loved it. It was never near any food or drink, and is still in excellent condition.
