STYLE: This beautiful dress gave me the elegant princess look I wanted for my wedding! The top has an illusion scoop neckline of soft tan netting that sits about a hand's width under the collarbone. It has pearl-like beads on the applique top (fully lined).
FIT: I am usually a size 4 and it fit me well. No alterations were made to the bodice. The button loops on the back are stretchy, so it's ok if your measurements aren't exact. The bust is stiff, so no need to worry if you don't fill it. It can accommodate at least a DD cup. No bra needed! The skirt of the dress has a soft layer of netting (not stiff like crinoline) on the top and several layers of tulle, then stiff crinoline, before the dress lining so it holds its shape. There is a zipper that stops at the waist. I'm just over 5'5" and the dress is floor length. The dress is comfortable and not too heavy for a July wedding.
HEM/BUSTLE: I had it hemmed, and it has a barely visible, triple-layer bustle for dancing. The bustle is really easy to do- loops and hooks. The train is lovely, not too long, and provides a more formal ceremony look.
COLOR: As you can see in the pictures, the dress is whiter than the vanilla buttercream on our cake, but not as white as a stark white tablecloth. :) The buttons on the back and the beading on the bodice make it a little sparkly!
