This was my dream gown for my wedding that took place in mid October 2018! I had it custom altered several times before wearing it one time at my wedding. I purchased a Mikaella gown because it is very close to a pure white as I was not wanting ivory. White brightens your face and teeth! I also knew I wanted crepe material because it flows like liquid gold and lays on the body and curves better than any other fabric/material. It doesn’t bunch or wrinkle and flows and moves like none other. I am 5’3” but wore 3.5” heels. I was very specific in the bustle so that it showed my rump and didn’t bunch or fold under the fanny. This dress is meant to show your curves but not too tight or inappropriate. I have an athletic build and had it fitted perfectly but it was the MOST comfortable dress to wear from start to end. Not once did I trip or step on the dress during my night of multiple steps and dancing. I spent $800 on alterations for the bustle, fitting, extra structure added to the sides, satin belt with gorgeous rhinestone and pearl belt added, and straps fitted perfectly. I am a 34C and weigh 135 lbs and did not need to wear a bra bc it was fitted so perfectly. No matter your size, you can adjust the straps alone and no other chest alterations would be needed. (Bra cups could be added but I opted not to.) The slit up the front is amazing and I wore Betsey Johnson shoes with rhinestones and the slit really shows off the wow factor when you walk and dance. I am selling my dress because I will never wear it again and don’t want it going to waste sitting in an attic in a preserved wedding dress box. That is a waste of a perfect and divine gown that I want another beautiful bride-to-be to feel stunning and sexy on her most perfect day.
I had my gown professionally cleaned and it looks as new as the day I first put it on. I had an inside wedding and reception so I wasn’t dancing and dragging it around in dirt or mud or anything like that. And as soon as I walked down the aisle after our vows, my wedding planner bustled it up so it never even touched the ground for the rest of the evening.
