**UPDATE (7/19/18): I have already picked up dress from the boutique! It is ready to be shipped!**
**UPDATE (6/20/18): Just spoke with the bridal shop and the dress has already been shipped from the designer to the bridal shop, and I was told it would be available for pick up by the end of the month.**
This dress is gorgeous! and am quite torn actually, in having decided to sell this dress.
This dress was purchased/ordered last month, February 2018. I'm currently awaiting for the dress to be shipped to the boutique, so I can pick up. So, this dress is in BRAND NEW, UNALTERED, NEVER WORN CONDITION.
WHAT HAPPENED/WHY AM I SELLING? I walked into the wedding dress shop with the hope of finding a dress under $1250, but was willing to go up to $1500. This dress was listed as $1595, and wasn't a dress that was recommended for me to try on due to being over my price range. Well, when I saw the dress on the rack myself, I immediately felt the need to try it despite it's price tag. The dress really had almost everything I wanted - it was gorgeous, light weight, airy, easy to move in, had beatuiful floral detailing that wasn't too overpowerng, it gave off a boho, free sprit vibe but also had the simplicity and cleaness of a modern look as well. I'd say it checked off pretty much everything I was looking for in a dress, except the price, the train (wanted a dress with no train or shorter train), and the back was a lot more showy than I wanted (I'm pretty demure, and wanted a little more coverage in the back). I knew the train and back were things I could change with alterations and money. I reasoned with myself that the dress was only about $100 more than what I was willing to spend anyways, and the cost of alterations were something I could expect with any dress I had planned to buy. Besides the dress was gorgeous, and pretty much nearly met everything else on my checklist, and based on everything else i had tried on that day, that was the closest dress to being perfect. I bought the dress, and flash forward to today, I am having some anxieties about alterations and spending the extra money to do that, and the unsurety of whether the alterations will look good or will all work out. If I was altering to size or fit the dress perfectly to my body, that's an alteration I'm willing to undergo and spend money for. My intended plans for alteration were to cut train off and add that lace to the back part of dress, my anxieties are there becuase of all the unsurety on how the dress will turn out, along with the costs I'd have to fork over for alterations, with the dress already being slighty overbudget when I initially purchased. So instead, I've decided to sell this dress. Again, it will be BRAND NEW, UNWORN, UNALTERED CONDITION.
The wedding shop will notify me of the dresses arrival, and I will continue to update here when I can expect to pick up the dress so it'll be ready for shipping to you. My wedding date will be for october 2018, so I'll be getting dress well in time for that, but please be mindful of your own wedding timelines and whether or not you'll need to account any time for any of your own alterations.
CONSIDERING THIS DRESS? Consider finding a boutique/dress shop near you that has this sample gown for you to try on. If you're happy with it, ask for them to give you the dress size you should order based on your measurements. If the recommended dress size for yu is a 6 or lower, then this dress will work for you.
PRICING: I've kept the price still pretty close to the original tag price I bought it for, because it is still brand new, unsused, unworn, unaltered. Keep in mind when you buy from your local boutique/wedding shop, they will also likely add tax, and a shipping fee to get the dress delivered to the store. What I had spent/ my out the door price for this dress including tax and shipping was $1704. So you will have some savings if you buy the dress here.
WHEN WILL DRESS BE READY TO SHIP?: This dress is not yet ready to ship, as I don't even have this dress in my hands just yet. I can ship dress once I have dress. Date to be determined. My wedding is for october, so I will have this dress well be for then. The actual delivery date to the store is unknown yet. The boutique owners said they would call when the dress arrives, and couldn't give me an exact time frame. Figured I'd post dress here prior to receiving it, in order to give those insterested some time to think about it and check out the dress in person at a store in your area that has this sample gown. Safe to say, if you're wedding is in October 2018 or later, then you should receive this dress in time for your special day. Please keep in mind of any adjustments you'll need to get. Please don't hesitate to message me if you're even a slight bit interested in the dress.
INCLUDED PHOTOS: Are of myself, trying on the sample gown at the dress shop. This sample size gown was larger and needed clipping to the back. Sorry, I don't have any photos of myself for the back of the dress. Please see more photos including the back of the dress and a helpful video of the dress from the designer's website here: I didn't include the designer's photos of the dress on this site due to I don't retain any rights or own those photos.
Please don't hesitate to message me if you're even a slight bit interested in the dress.
