It is such a beautiful gown, has not been altered, haven't even tried it on after it arrived at the store. I opted not to buy the cape that is an additional feature for this specific dress; however, you can purchase from a salon should you be interested. There is a photo of me wearing the cape, it secures along the upper arms to create an off-the-shoulder look. The dress has beautiful lace and tule along the bottom.
